Our warehouse in Thessaloniki serves as a logistical hub for humanitarian aid, benefitting thousands of refugees in Northern Greece. We source supplies locally and receive aid deliveries from abroad. Supplies are stocked in the warehouse and distributed to refugees by our volunteer team and partner organisations. This support network serves eleven camps and a number of urban projects in the region. Our approach is needs-based and flexible. We focus on closing supply gaps, providing for refugees who lack institutional support and on responding to emergencies.

Our project in Lagadikia supports around 550 residents of the nearby camp. Lagadikia itself is a remote village where little infrastructure and services are available for refugees. A significant part of the refugee population are “unregistered”, recent arrivals who lack institutional support.
The Free Shop provides a dignified way of distributing essential aid: we welcome refugees as customers who receive a certain amount of points to spend as they choose. The shop offers fresh fruit & vegetables, dry food, hygiene articles, tents, sleeping bags and clothes (on a seasonal basis).
The Community Center is a place for learning and cultural exchange. We offer informal English and Greek lessons, a child friendly space, a sewing station, recreational activities and an information point.
